摘 要
随着网络技术的飞速发展，人们对网络应用的要求越来越高。视频点播也广泛应用于校园。目前传统的数据格式，如文本、图像和图形已被数字化，可通过网络存储、传送和表现。但是这种传统的无视频的点播已经满足不了校园学生的需求，视频等连续媒体由于其特有的属性决定了其在网络中传输需要采用一些特定的技术。为此，设计和开发的校园视频点播系统。视频点播系统丰富了学生的生活，是时代的需要，也是网络发展的要求。
本系统是在Windows XP环境下，采用B/S结构，以MySQL为数据库开发平台，用IIS（Internet Information Server）网络信息服务为应用服务器，采用PHP语言开发和设计的。系统分前台和后台两大部分，前台由用户使用，主要包括站内新闻、热门视频等功能模块；后台部分由管理员使用，主要包括系统用户管理等功能模块。

Abstract
With the rapid development of network technology, people on the network application requirements more and more high. Video on demand is also widely used in the campus. At present, the traditional data format, such as text, image and graphics have been digitized, the network storage, transfer and expression. But the traditional no video on demand has been unable to meet the demand of campus students, video and other media because of its unique properties determine the need to adopt some specific technology in network transmission. Therefore, the campus VOD system design and development. Video on demand system enriches the lives of students, is the need of the times, the development and the requirement of network.
This system is under Windows XP environment, using B/S structure, using MySQL database development platform, using IIS (Internet Information Server) network information services as application servers, using PHP language development and design. The system is divided into two parts, the onstage and the backstage, front desk by the users, including station news, video and other functional modules; background in part by the administrators, including user management system function module.

网络视频点播系统(BroadVision VOD)是将视频采集设备获取的视音频（电视、录像带、摄像机等）数据流及VCD、DVD、WAV、AVI、MPG、MP3等格式文件 或制作好的音视频节目统一批量编码转换为ASF、WMV、WMA、FLV等流媒体格式数据以实现视音频内容的统一管理和共享利用，通过网络可以点播自己喜欢的视音频节目。
